1. Discovery Call / Let's Meet via Zoom
Joining HM Voice Studio for personalised coaching with Hannah May begins with Your Discovery Call online via Zoom.
This is the first step in getting to know you and planning for your Initial Fit Session (available in-person or online). It helps us design a fun, personalized session that focuses on areas you’re eager to explore—whether it's singing, your voice, songwriting, or piano. Every session is tailored to meet your unique needs and goals.
*Kindly be aware that all sessions, including in-person ones, are offered only after Your Discovery Call with Hannah May in completed.
*Please note the studio has limited availability and you may be placed on a waitlist.
If you are under 14 years of age Hannah May asks that a parent/guardian be present for this Discovery Call.
2. Initial Fit Session
After Your Discovery Call, we’ll move to the next phase: your Initial Fit Session. This session is typically scheduled within 14 days - depending on the studio availability and invites you into the studio in person or online via Forte/Zoom.
During the Initial Fit Session, we’ll begin working together to explore your unique needs, goals, and aspirations. I’ll provide you with practical tools to support your growth as a singer, voice user, songwriter, or piano player.
You’ll also receive access to the studio app, Practice Space, where you can enhance your practice and continue exploring your skills outside of our sessions.
Parents/guardians are invited into part of the Initial Fit Sessions and then invited to wait in the studio's waiting room and enjoy the free studio wifi and a cup of tea. Ongoing sessions you are welcome to drop and collect or wait in the waiting room for the duration of the session.
3. Ongoing / Flexi Sessions
After your Initial Fit Session, you’ll have the option to choose between Ongoing Sessions or Flexi Sessions:
- Ongoing Sessions: Ideal for all ages, levels of singers, songwriters, and piano players who want weekly or fortnightly coaching. These sessions provide consistent support, accountability, and enjoyment, while fostering a strong connection to the HM Voice Studio community (check out @hmvoicestudio). They are also offered at a lower rate, making them more accessible for those committing to a block or year of sessions.
- Flexi Sessions: Perfect for those with unpredictable schedules or who prefer a more flexible approach. These sessions allow you to book as needed—whether for a few focused lessons or occasional check-ins—without a long-term commitment. Please note that 80% of the studio’s bookings are for 10-week ongoing blocks, so Flexi Sessions can be limited. However, if you are a professional seeking support with touring, recording, or vocal health, Hannah May will do her best to accommodate your session needs. Please note flexi sessions are only available for adult singers and songwriters
For parents/guardians for ongoing sessions you are welcome to drop and collect or wait in the waiting room for the duration of the session.
