Welcome to those who have stories to share,

Ready to unlock the full potential of your voice? Build your vocal range, agility, strength, and stamina. Find deeper passion and connection with your sound.
Eyeing auditions for top programs and productions across Australia? Inspired by (insert your favourite singer) and ready to sing their songs while discovering your own unique style?
Writing your own songs, poetry, or lyrics and looking to add chords, craft, or performance skills? Got a piano at home and finally ready to take those lessons? Been singing for years and want to learn to accompany yourself?
Heading into the recording studio and need a coach to guide you through the process and help you shine in your session? Let’s make it happen.

Are you studying music at college or university - maybe at the University of Tasmania (Hobart) or elsewhere in Australia? Completing the UCP or majoring in voice or songwriting?
If you’re looking for extra support with your singing, HM Voice Studio can help. Hannah May has worked with many singers and songwriters currently completing tertiary music programs, offering tailored coaching to help them build confidence, refine technique, and perform at their best, from preparing for auditions to extra support throughout the degree.

Sometimes the vocal coach you’re assigned at university just isn’t the right fit, or the limited lesson time makes it hard to reach that next level.
We all learn differently, and having a coach who truly understands your voice, goals, and learning style can make all the difference to your confidence and growth as a singer.
Most university programs offer just a 30-minute in-person lesson each week. At HM Voice Studio, we give you the freedom to choose what works best for you - from lesson length and frequency to online or in-person options that fit around your schedule.
Whether you’d like a that extra 30-minute session, a focused 45-minute session, or a full hour to dive deeper into technique and repertoire, your lessons are fully customisable. You can book regular weekly or fortnightly sessions, or opt for flexible bookings in the lead-up to performance exams.
Whether you’re struggling with your voice, preparing for assessments, or simply want extra guidance to help you thrive in your course, Hannah May provides personalised one-on-one coaching to support your journey.
Book a Discovery Call and get the extra support you need to succeed - in your music studies and beyond.

Throughout the year HM Voice Studio (run by Hannah May) hosts small workshops for singers of all ages and levels at both the studio and spaces in Hobart.
These workshops are an opportunity to meet and work with all singers of the studio, sing together, learn more about voice and enjoy our singing community.
If you interested in joining off the workshops for the studio contact Hannah May.
If you are not a singer or songwriters of the studio and are having lessons with another coach, but keen to come along to a workshop in 2026 please contact the studio.
